Hello! :) Can you believe it’s November tomorrow? The end of 2016 is approaching..! I was planning a short visit back to Singapore again this winter, but with some things unconfirmed, I don’t know if that’s happening yet. Anyway, we’ve been enjoying some wonderful weather in Hong Kong lately, all sunny and cool, well deserved after going through two typhoons.
For now, I’ll pop over to another sunny city here on City Girl, City Stories as I wanted to share these memories from my trip to Singapore in the summer! These are all casual everyday snapshots I found on my phone and I barely managed to narrow them down from the 200+ I took, what can I say, I really do like to take pictures of everything!
Anyway, I love going through all the places I explored again, so I hope you’ll enjoy this look into Singapore!

A snapshot from a visit to the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, which I’ve shared about in more detail in my post here!

Always popping by one of my favourite cafes in Singapore, Brew Maison!

Streets filled with white and colourful shophouses in central Singapore, next to Pinnacle@Duxton, the fanciest public housing estate I’ve ever seen!

My friend introduced me to Grassroots Book Room, a bookstore (selling Chinese and local titles) with a small cafe inside! Such a warm and cosy place. :)

Reliving my childhood with streetside S$1 ice cream sandwiches! I always have mine with the biscuits, how do you have yours?

Cool sign outside a charming bookshop called Littered with Books! I love the variety of bookshops in Singapore. :)

Wandering the colourful streets of Haji Lane. Question of the day: would you drink a selfie coffee? I don’t think I would haha!

I cannot believe how pink and pretty and huge this branch of Dazzling Cafe Singapore is!

Cedele, one of my favourite places for afternoon tea and I’m pretty sure they make the best cakes in Singapore. Yum. :)

Waffletown Singapore, this place is a familiar childhood memory for me! My favourites are their waffles (obviously) and fried chicken!

Paid a visit to the beautiful National Gallery Singapore!

One of my fave places for breakfast in Singapore: Coffee Bean! These breakfasts are served all day too!

How can I stop by Singapore and not have a kaya toast set? There’s Toast Box in Hong Kong too but they never get it right here, unfortunately.

Views of Singapore from ION SKY, a free viewing deck at ION Orchard I never knew about! I love it!
I will wrap up here with this final snapshot at a cinema on my last day in Singapore, where I caught Jason Bourne before flying back to Hong Kong! I plan to share more about a couple of the places I mentioned here with more details and photos soon, but for now, this has been a recap of my wonderful summer spent in Singapore.
If you’d like to check it out, here are links to my previous Singapore diaries from 2015 and 2014!
P.S. I finally put together a video of my memories from the trip! Check it out below! :)
