I spent my first Christmas in Hong Kong this year! It was really exciting enjoying the festivities and being part of the city’s celebrations this year. The energy is so lively and very different from what I’ve experienced with Christmases in Singapore. :)
Anyway, I thought it’ll be fun to share some snapshots from the holiday season and from my Christmas Day! :)
Christmas Day!
My Christmas was spent sleeping in, lounging around in my PJs and watching Christmas themed tv with a mug of hot chocolate~ Mmm~ For the second half of the day, my family and I went for a Christmas buffet dinner at The Excelsior and there was so much good food! I totally recommend it! :D
There were Christmas hats and party horns on each table and while dinner was ending, there was a group of Christmas carolers who started performing in the lobby of the hotel. :) I really liked these elements because they added such a happy spirit to things!
After dinner, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui to see the new HK Pulse 3D show, which was a music and 3D show projected on the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, pretty cool! I also caught a few performances by buskers and spotted some lovely people spreading extra cheer on Christmas with free hugs! :)
For a first Christmas in Hong Kong, it was a lovely one! Good food, lots of laughs and an overall great day! It was also lots of fun to be out and about with the crowds and to share some laughs and hugs with others! :)
